In the Spanish film, “Sal” a screenwriter is attempting to get his film purchased but doesn’t quite have the edge the film needs. He get’s shut down by numerous directors until viola he visits the setting of the film and embarks as the protagonist living a real western story.
Diego, a western hero who everyone confuses the screenwriter to be, envails in a true western dilema. With bar brawls and bullets the story with no plot comes to life instantly.
Check out “Sal” at the San Jose 2012 Cinequest film festival and prepare to be blown away by a real Western thriller with the beautiful scenes of Chile.
